NATO has to do more against terrorism after the attack on Manchester, said his chief, Jan Stoltenberg, on the eve of a summit of leaders of the Atlantic Alliance in Brussels.
Stoltenberg admitted, however, that it is not certain that the alliance will join the coalition against the Islamic State, which Washington wants.
"I expect the Allies to be active and accept to do more in the fight against terrorism" after the "very brutal" attack on Manchester, the responsibility for which the Islamic State took over, the NATO Secretary General said during an interview Press.
The attack on Monday night at a pop concert in Manchester, resulting in the deaths of 22 people and injuries 59, including children, "will be harmed by all leaders in one way or the other" at the meeting Tomorrow Thursday at NATO's new headquarters in Brussels, he said.
