Facebook warns of false news in view of British parliamentary elections


Facebook has launched an advertising campaign in British newspapers to alert its users to the dangers of fake news, in a last attempt by this giant of social media to fight malicious information in view of national elections.

Facebook has received strong pressures to fight the spread of false news, something that came to light during the US presidential election campaign last year when many inaccurate posts were shared in this particular but also in other social media.
