Drum Tramb: Stunning progress to promote the security and prosperity of the US, our friends and allies

US President Donald Trub completed his nine-day tour abroad and departed for Washington after meeting with US soldiers on a Sicilian military base and delivered a speech that reminded heavily of his pre-election rallies.

The American president presented his soldiers, at Sigonala's base, his wife Melania. "My husband worked very hard on this trip and I am very proud of him," said the first US lady, whose stance over the past few days caused question marks when he twice avoided keeping the Trump by the hand.

The Republican president, who did not give a press conference throughout his tour, said his trip was successful and productive. He even said that he himself helped forge even more international cooperation in the battle against Islamists, a threat once again highlighted by the suicide attack in Manchester on Monday and the execution of a group of Coptic pilgrims in Egypt on Friday.

He also welcomed the "stunning progress" achieved on his journey "to promote the security and prosperity of our US, friends and allies."
"We made many friends this week," he added. "Peace through power, we will have it, we will have a lot of power and a lot of peace," he continued.
