"I do not live in another galaxy," Mei responds to Juncker for negotiations on Brexit

Britain's Prime Minister Teresa Mei has assured her today that she is not living "in another galaxy" on negotiations with the EU for Brexit, responding to critics of European officials who, according to the British press, blame her for her excessive demands.

The Sunday Times today marks the subject of her first page, "My Life lives in another galaxy," says Brussels. The report refers to the meeting in London on Wednesday with the Prime Minister, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and EU Chief Negotiator Michel Barnier.

Mei reportedly said at this meeting that she wants to discuss a trade agreement between the EU and the United Kingdom before resolving the sensitive issue of divorce "account", which Europeans deny.

"It was very bad," says Juncker later, according to the newspaper that claims one of his assistants. Juncker spoke on the phone with Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany, to whom she talked with Mei. "Mei is in another galaxy." Based on what happened at the meeting, a lack of agreement is more likely than an agreement, "he added.
