The US president Donald Trump said today that the efforts of his government to deport thousands of undocumented migrants living in the country is a "military operation" but a statement which attempted to refute the Internal Security minister of his government, which is official visit to Mexico.
"You see what happens at the border. Suddenly, for the first time (...) turn away the very bad guys, a rate that has never been before, "said Trump during a meeting with businessmen at the White House. "And this is a military operation," added Republican.
Before you even spend two hours, however, the Internal Security Minister of Government, John Kelly, said the opposite in Mexico.
The US is not going to "use the army regarding immigration" issue, assured Kelly at a press conference surrounded by US Secretary Rex Tilerson and their Mexican counterparts.
The agents of the immigration officer (ICE) are civilians, not soldiers.
