Juncker concern that the EU will not maintain a united front in the negotiations on Brexit

The European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker expressed his concern in an interview to be broadcast tomorrow Sunday that the 27 countries of the European Union will fail to maintain a united front in negotiations with London on the withdrawal of Britain from the EU.

"The other 27 EU countries do not even know, but the British know very well how to handle the situation" reportedly said Juncker in an interview with the German radio station Deutschlandunk. "They could promise a thing in a country, something else in another country and something different in a third country and at the end there is no single European front," he said.

Juncker pointed out that Britain can not negotiate its own trading arrangements as long as it remains an EU member. The 62chronos former Luxembourg Prime Minister also said that there will again be a candidate for president of the European Commission in 2019. In 2014, " I made a good campaigning, but there will be no second because I will not be a candidate for a second time, "he explained. the mandate of the Commission President is five years, renewable for another five years.
