Complaint lodged by M. Le Pen against the EU anti-corruption office


H Marine Le Pen, the candidate of the extreme right in presidential elections in France, filed a complaint in Belgium against the European Anti-Fraud Office (Olaf) EU, the investigation of which concluded that the president of the National Front (FN) paid, with money from the European Parliament, the wages of two assistants of supposedly working there, but they actually employed exclusively for the party.

"A complaint with a civil party statement tabled in late January proceedings against Olaf, of the fight against EU corruption agency, the counsel of Mr. Le Pen" told AFP a spokesman for the Brussels public prosecutor, the Dennis Choman.

"The lawsuit was filed on charges of false accounting and examined by a judge, whose research for and against the person concerned is in progress," added Choman.

In the lawsuit, filed at the expense of the general secretary of the European Parliament, Klaus Welle, and a copy of which is in the possession of the AFP, the lawyers of Marine Le Pen denounced on behalf of Olaf and the European Parliament on 'intention to compromise for political purposes "its activation as well as irregularities in the process.
