The Polish Foreign Ministry called "return to the law of the jungle" vision of M. Le Pen for Europe

The Polish Foreign Minister Vitolnt Vastsikofski said, after meeting with the leader of the National Front of France M. Le Pen, that the implementation of his vision for Europe would "return to the law of the jungle".

During his visit to Paris on Sunday Vastsikofski discussed for 90 minutes with the leader of the French extreme right, which rarely meets with foreign ministers of other EU countries.

After taking office in Poland in late 2015, the Eurosceptic government in which Vastsikofski party has clashed repeatedly with the European institutions.

"Behold an EU dissolved in a loose union," said Polish Foreign Minister speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels for the meeting with Le Pen. "Ms Le Pen also wants less European solidarity in such a union. And this would mean returning to the law of the jungle," he added.

The ruling Law party and Justice (PiS) in Poland is the euro, as the National Front of Le Pen, but also against the imposition of quotas for hosting refugees from the EU countries. The leader of the Jaroslaw Kaczynski has expressed the ambition to "remodel" Europe in a compound where the voice of the member states will be stronger than that of institutions. Most Poles, however, want to keep their country in the EU.

In Paris, the Vastsikofski also met with Bruno Le Mer, who has assumed consultant for European and international issues of Francois Fillon, the Republican candidate for president of France.
