Somalia: At least 13 killed in attack unleashed by the organization al-Shabab, a hotel


At least 13 people were killed in the offensive launched today by al-Shabab organization designed hotel in the capital of Mogadishu Somalia, according to police.

"At least 13 people, including police and civilians, were killed in two explosions at the hotel. About 12 were injured," he told Reuters police officer Mohamed Ahmed, adding that the death toll may rise.

Men of the organization led a car booby-trapped the hotel entrance and then stormed to the sites. In this hotel often living politicians.

The last two years, an expedition of the African Union forces and Somali forces has removed the organization from many of the key strongholds, but al-Shabab remains active attacking of bases in rural areas.
