Barack Obama says goodbye to political life in Chicago

After two terms in the White House the 55-year Barack Obama will deliver today from Chicago farewell speech. Obama, who will give the baton to the 70 year-old Donald Trump on January 20, accompanied by his wife Michelle Obama and Vice government's Joe Biden will deliver the closing speech from the convention center McCormick in downtown Chicago.

The free tickets for this speech have already exhausted from Saturday, when hundreds of people despite the low temperatures patiently waited in front of the congress center to acquire one of the magic papers. A few streets further away, at Grand Park, a huge public park, Obama he delivered his first speech after his victory in the November 5, 2008.

"It took a long time. But tonight, thanks to what we today and during these elections, at this historical moment, change has come, "the first black president had said in US history after the victory against the Republican candidate John McCain. "If anyone still deny that America is a place where everything is possible (;), the answer was given today," he added before tens of thousands of people gathered in the cold holding banners reading «Yes we can».

Eight years as president of the first world power have whitened temples and have made his face seem more weakened, but the outgoing US president, who still has a very high popularity, is expected to address once again a word of hope.

Will once again present "his vision for America," the Dictaphones of Cody explains Qinan, stressing that Obama does not intend to deliver a speech "against Trump." In Chicago, where the Obama family has a house, will play an important role in the life after the White House democratic president: there will house the presidential library and his foundation. Obama intends to remain for some years to come to Washington to finish high school there in his little daughter Sasha. But he does not stop to remind his ties to Chicago: "There I found a form of idealism, where I met my wife, there were born my kids," he says.
