Russian President Vladimir Putin in a letter sent earlier this month to elect US president Donald Trump, he expressed his hope for restoration of bilateral cooperation Russia; USA and upgrade to a "new level".
"I hope that we will be able; acting in a constructive and realistic way; to really realize steps to restore the framework of our bilateral cooperation in various issues and upgrade our cooperation in the international arena to a qualitatively new level," wrote Putin in a letter on December 15, according to the Republican group tasked with the transfer of control procedure.
The Trump announced that accompanied the publication of the letter, said he hopes the two countries to "respond to these thoughts," only "have to follow a different path."
