The general director of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde will seek a postponement of the trial which examined the role of the payment from the French State a compensation of EUR 400 million to businessman Bernard Tapie, while another, a parallel investigation on the case is still underway as stated by counsel for Reuters news agency.
The appeal which was submitted Lagarde against the court order to refer the general director of the IMF on trial in the Court of the Republic? Cour de justice de la R? The Lagarde was French Finance Minister (2007-2011) before taking the head of the IMF in Washington.
