China: In availability doctors allegedly bribed by pharmaceutical


Three doctors in Shanghai and one in Hunan province were suspended as investigations against them for allegedly bribes from pharmaceutical companies, reported Chinese media. A research show the Chinese television network CCTV broadcast Saturday revealed that pharmaceutical executives tried to bribe doctors in six hospitals in Shanghai and Hunan.

The money offered them amounted to 30 to 40% of the sales price of the formulations were asking them to promote, according to this telecast.

The departments responsible for combating corruption in Shanghai announced that they have started investigation. The principles of Hunan announced that they will improve the control process of the procedures relating to the placing of medicines. The National Board of Health and Family Planning of China announced that it also sends a team to investigate.
