British Foreign Mn. Johnson called for "an immediate ceasefire" in Aleppo

British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson today called for the implementation "immediately a ceasefire" in Aleppo, calling on Russia and Iran to use their influence on the Syrian government to prevent a "humanitarian catastrophe".

The rebels have lost one third of their strongholds in eastern Aleppo, as government forces and their allies have unleashed a wide land and air operation, which began on November 15.

"The attack threatens a humanitarian disaster," noted the head of British diplomacy in a press release.

"I urge those who have an influence on the (Syrian) government, especially Russia and Iran, to use it to put an end to the disastrous operation in eastern Aleppo" added.

"We need (to take effect) an immediate ceasefire in Aleppo" insisted Boris Johnson asking further the 'impartial' humanitarian agencies to have "direct access" to "vulnerable civilians fleeing for their lives from the fighting."
