At 67% increased hate crimes against Muslims in 2015

The number of hate crimes increased by about 6.7% last year in the US, but the number of criminal acts against Muslims soared as increased by 67%, according to the federal police who released today.

Organizations defending civil and political rights had expressed concerns about the reactions against the Muslims, before they scored the terrorist attacks in Paris and San Bernardino, in late 2015. The period to which the FBI report covers the calendar year 2015 but public at a time when tensions recorded just days after the US presidential elections.

Since last Tuesday reported racist incidents that have caused outrage in the US. On one occasion, the students of a school chanted the slogan "white power" and in another, in Chicago, a group of African Americans beat a white man while bystanders screamed "vote for Trump!". In 2008, after the election of Barack Obama as president, they had also reported some cases of hate crimes related to the elections.
