The Kremlin "regrets" that Russia used in the election campaign in the US
The Kremlin today expressed regret that Russia and President Vladimir Putin have become an integral part of the election campaign in the US, saying it has fed up to show Russia usually in a negative way.
The Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said yesterday that Russia violated the agreement with the United States for a ceasefire in Syria and that Putin does not respect the US leaders.
"This election rhetoric continues, controversy continues within the campaign. Russia has not intervened and will not intervene in all of these discussions," said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in a teleconference with reporters.
"The rhetoric of all participants in the election campaign subject to such opportunist changes ... Of course we would like our country to indicate only positive, but unfortunately we know that the Russian paper and the reference to our chairman have become practically an integral part of the campaign to USA, "said Peskov.
