Syria- UN: The actions of Russia in Syria are "barbaric," said US ambassador

The US ambassador to the UN, Samantha Powers, today said that the actions of Russia in Syria are "barbaric," not fighting terrorism.

Moscow supports the President of Syria Bashar al-Assad against the rebels, that such claims, they want to overthrow.

The UN special envoy to Syria Stafa de Mistoura said during a Security Council emergency meeting that was convinced that the situation in Syria can be flipped and pointed out that it would not abandon its efforts, while Russia and the US attempt to rescue the truce.
