More than 100 fighters of the PKK killed or injured in today's clashes with Turkish security forces


More than 100 fighters of the PKK were killed or wounded during clashes with Turkish security forces today, one of the bloodiest days in recent years in the Turkish-Kurdish conflict, the Turkish military announced without specifying the number of dead and wounded.

Most Kurdish fighters were transferred to bases that keeps the PKK in northern Iraq.
In recent days clashes have centered on the province of Hakkari, near the border with Iraq, and Van, on the Iranian border.
