Hungarian Prime Minister: EU should deport all illegal immigrants
The Hungarian Prime Minister said the EU should arrest and deport all illegal immigrants and to draw them into supervised by the EU refugee camps outside its borders, from where they can apply for asylum.
"This could be an island, could be a coastal area in North Africa, but the safety and supplies this region the EU must be guaranteed for its own interests," said Viktor Orban in an interview published today by the Origo website.
"Those who illegally came to be arrested and deported," said Orban, who has caused reactions with harsh statements about immigrants and the fence of barbed wire that has heightened along Hungary's southern border, and with referendum that issued on October 2 against the EU quota obligations for resettlement of refugees.
"We need to create large refugee camps outside the EU, which the Union will provide armed security and economic support. All those who came illegally should return there. There you can apply for asylum."
