Erdogan: The US should not "harboring a terrorist" as the Gulen

Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in an interview with Reuters agency yesterday that the United States should not "harboring a terrorist" as the cleric Fethullah Gülen and that action should be banned worldwide.

Turkey attaches the failed coup of July to the clergyman, who lives in the US. Erdogan also said that the state of emergency imposed after the coup may be extended by parliament.

Among other things, Erdogan said that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will not be part of a transitional government and the territorial integrity of Syria must be respected by other countries.

About the European Union, the Turkish president said, "Turkey has fulfilled its commitments related to the EU integration process. (...) And the opposite should happen, however, and to fulfill its commitments and the EU" .

"We have not completed this process. (...) We want the EU to be honest about this process," he said during the interview during the annual summit at the United Nations.
