China: decisive response in case of provocation in South Sinica Sea
Beijing promised today to provide "decisive response" to any "provocation" in South Sinica Sea, two days after the verdict of the UN arbitral tribunal which rejected the Chinese claims in this disputed territory.
"If someone epithythmei to make some provocative act against Chinese security interests based on this verdict, China will respond in a decisive way," said Lu Kang, a spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, during renovation of journalists.
The spokesman described as "illegal" the Permanent Court of Arbitration has its seat in The Hague and stressed that the verdict "will have no effect on China's policy".
