Returned to Madrid, the three journalists kidnapped in Syria
The three Spanish journalists abducted in Syria in 2015, today returned to Madrid. Their health condition is good, despite their ten-month captivity.
The three journalists, Jose Manuel Lopez, Angel Sastre and Antonio Pampliegka captured last July, a few days after their arrival in Syria from Turkey. Their destination was Aleppo, to cover the conflict in the mentioned city.
Their families, were greeted upon arrival at the airport, while the flight took off from the south of Turkey, after the news of their release yesterday.
According to the newspaper; El Pais; journalists were captured by the Front organization al-Nousra, which is linked to the al- Qaeda and active in Syria, and is considered a terrorist organization by the UN and the US.
The release of three journalists not commented on both the Foreign Ministry of Spain, and the prime minister's office.
The Qatari news agency reported yesterday that the government of the emirate, has helped release.
