In-bomber suicide attack caused the explosion in Bursa
A woman suicide bomber killed thirteen people were injured in the suicide bombing that occurred today in the tourist area of Bursa, in northwestern Turkey, said the local governor.
The explosion occurred at 17.26 (local time and GMT) near Oulu Mosque, the "big mosque" being the symbol of the city. According to the announcement, a woman believed that activated the explosive device in which was belted, injuring seven passers.
The explosion caused panic in the area around the mosque, frequented by many tourists, reported the news CNN-T? Rk channel. The suicide vomvistria was 25 years, added the same source.
Police blocked access to the area and looked at the corpse of the woman.
Bursa is the fourth largest city in Turkey, with a population of 2.7 million inhabitants. It hosts many monuments of the Ottoman period, as it was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire in the 14th century.
US diplomatic missions in Turkey were warned again Tuesday American nationals residing in the country for "serious threat" of terrorist attacks against tourists.
Turkey has for many months is in alarm because of repeated attacks attributed either Kurdish separatists of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) or the jihadists of the Islamic State (IR). In February and March, in two attacks with car bombs killed some 60 people in Ankara. The responsibility assumed then the Falcons for the Liberation of Kurdistan (TAK), an organization that has split off from the PKK.
