France: Confirm outbreak of "mad cow disease"
The French Agriculture Ministry today confirmed that a case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, also known as mad cow disease, was detected in the Ardennes region, in northeastern France.
The suspected case was identified last week and reported Tuesday, but so far have not confirmed the first tests were done.
The new case, which can hurt exports while French farmers already tested, is the third located in Europe since 2015, adds the ministry in such a statement
