FYROM: Parallel wire fence in the neutral zone Idomeni-Gevgelija
In aid of the wire fence, in the neutral zone between Idomeni and Gevgelija Macedonia progresses, under announcements for stricter controls on the transit of refugees.
Diggers of Macedonian army started yesterday to work on cleaning and landscaping and already the country's troops have erect a fence parallel to the point of neutral Idomeni-Gevgelija area from which they are refugees crossing.
Last November, Macedonia progressed in the placement of a wire fence in the neutral zone between Idomeni and Gevgelija, saying it is necessary to create a focal point from which it will be refugees crossing.
The fence has been extended to other parts of the border between Greece and Macedonia, according to information, the length is extended to approximately 35 km.
According to press reports in Skopje, Macedonia is supplied with the wire of the fence from Hungary.
