Drugs in An. Macedonia and Thrace trafficked multi-member gang



Polyplokami criminal organization that trafficked drugs in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, was dismantled by the police with the arrest of 10 people, including its leader.

The group consisted of 13 people, of which a leading member directed its action and another 12 people were regional roles. The amount of drug delivered by the April 2014 is estimated at over 4.5 kg of raw hemp, a pound of processed and 100 grams of cocaine, while the circuit profits from the purchase and sale of drugs exceed 45,000 euros
They seized, including cocaine, raw hemp, numerous mobile phones, multiple SIM cards, cash and two vehicles.

However, the relative file include 41 other people accused of violating the law on addictive substances, because it came supplied drugs from the organization.

Specifically, the investigations of the police has revealed that at least since April 2014, the perpetrators set up and joined in a structured, with distinct roles and certain hierarchical criminal organization for the purpose of drug trafficking in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.

Leading role in the formation, organization, direction and guidance of the criminal organization had a 48, who along with two others, organized the supply of the coil with quantities of cannabis and cocaine, from Albania and Athens.

Role drug supplier in the circuit still had three members, role carrier - Drug sender had other two and the other members of the organization undertook the sale of drugs or were charged with various other regional roles.

It was found that the members of the organization were using mobile phones, which were activated in foreign elements (ghostphones), which are changed at regular intervals, while speaking with special passwords and codified terminology.
