Concentrations of Pegida far-right movement in cities of Europe
The German anti-Islamic-Pegida-immigrant movement organized gatherings today in many European cities to protest the arrival of hundreds of thousands of refugees and immigrants from the Middle East and Africa.
The far-right movement "Patriots Europeans against the Islamization of the West", initiated by the city of Dresden in eastern Germany in 2014. After the decline experienced last year, the movement strengthened again due to the negative climate created by the influx 1 one million refugees in the country this year.
The Pegida had called for today 14 countries to protest against refugees with slogan "Fortress Europe".

In Amsterdam, the security forces proceeded to arrests of Pegida or antidiadiloton after clashes with police in the city center. Dozens of protesters juxtaposed in antidiadilotes chanted "Refugees are welcome, the Fascists not."

Demonstrations of Pegida also organized in Warsaw (Poland), Bratislava (Slovakia), Graz (Austria) and Birmingham (UK). In most of the cities were organized simultaneously counterdemonstrations.
