Turkey will cooperate with Russia and its allies to drop the tension between the two countries after the shooting down of a Russian fighter plane from Turkish cruiser near the border with Syria, said Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu in an article in today's issue the Times of London.
Davutoglu also said that talks are being held after the event, which has brought the relations of Ankara with Moscow at its worst level of recent years.
Yesterday the Russian Ministry of Defence announced that all military contacts with Turkey were discontinued after the shooting down of Russian aircraft, while Finance Minister of Russia Alexei Ouloukagef said that restrictions are considered to civil flights to and from Turkey.
