Syria: New Russian air raids in Pakala
Russia launched new air raids during the night against positions of the organization Islamic State near Pakala, stronghold of the jihadist organization in northeastern Syria, according to non-governmental organization.
The air strikes destroyed a command center organization Islamic State near Pakala, stronghold of the jihadist organization in northeastern Syria, and an underground bunker, today announced the Russian defense ministry.
"In the last 24 hours, SU-34 aircraft and SU-24M carried out more than 20 air outlets aimed nine facilities of the Islamic State", explained the ministry. A command center in Pakala and an underground shelter where explosives were kept were destroyed, according to the same source.
The IK fully controls the province Pakala, the eponymous head office of which is considered as "capital" of the Islamist group. The Pakala is the main stronghold of 2013.
On Thursday, the Russian Air Force has set a target for the first time since it started Pakala launches air strikes in Syria one day earlier.
