The Mn. Obama instructed to prepare for the lifting of sanctions against Iran
The United States president Barack Obama has formally requested today by the government to prepare for the suspension of the US sanctions against Iran after the agreement on nuclear signed on July 14 Tehran and major powers.
This day marks the end of a period of 90 days following the adoption by the UN Security Council of a resolution adopted by a diplomatic agreement.
"Hereby I ask you to take all the necessary measures to put into effect the American commitments in relation to the sanctions," said Barack Obama in a note addressed to the involved officials of his government (diplomatic service, Ministries of Finance, Trade , Energy).
Iran should begin to dissolve a large part of its nuclear facilities, a months-long process at the end of which the Western sanctions may indeed be suspended.
The European Union is expected to announce today similar procedures.
