A rape every 40 minutes in France shocking report in the Figaro

O number of rapes reported to authorities has increased by 18% within five years in France, where daily reported 33 rapes, showed research Golgi published in French newspaper Le Figaro.
"The last five years, rapes denounced to the authorities increased by 18% (from 10.762 in 2010 to 12.768 in 2014), while at the same time have increased rape of minors by more than 20% (from 5,751 in 6936)," writes Le Figaro, citing data that came to the attention of the newspaper.
"Thirty-three rapes reported every day in France, an average of one every 40 minutes!" He points out Le Figaro and underlines that "these are only the cases reported to the police and referred to the prosecutor."
"The gray zone remains important. Research shows that the rate of complaints for rape is 10% smaller," explains the newspaper Christophe Souli, director of the National Centre for Crime and Criminal replies (ONDRP).
