The world has begun to "reverse the trend" against the threat of the Islamic State and is determined "to defeat the abominable ideology of" assured today by Britain's Foreign Minister Boris Johnson.
"We are in the process annihilate ridiculous ambitions of self-styled caliphate" said Johnson speaking at UN headquarters in New York, the day after the attack occurred near the British parliament in London.
"I believe to reverse this trend, there is a flood of hate in the world and believe that together we can repel," continued the British minister who earlier chaired a UN Security Council meeting. "The world has united to defeat those people who launched this attack and to defeat this hated, failed ideology," he said.
Johnson participated Wednesday at the ministerial meeting of countries participating in the coalition fighting the Islamic State, under US leadership.
As noted by the Minister, the victims of the attack in London came from 11 different countries, which shows that "an attack on London are an attack on the whole world."
