German Chancellor Angela Merkel flatly rejected as unacceptable the statements of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who spoke in the Netherlands calling it "Nazi residue ', speaking before business today, while noting that the reviews claiming the Nazi past is untargeted.
Erdogan called the Dutch "residue of Nazis, Fascists" Saturday, after the Dutch Government withdrew the permission of the Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu to land there.
"Germany rejects rhetoric and any other comparisons Ethnikosialismo as expressed by the Turkish president" Merkel noted, and stressed that it has already condemned the comparisons with the Nazis in which he had made kataferomenos against Germany last week.
"This rejection also applies to our allies, such as the Dutch. These comparisons are totally misplaced. Trivialize the suffering (of victims). Especially in the Netherlands, experienced so much pain because of National Socialism, is categorically unacceptable. For this reason the Netherlands can count on my full support and solidarity in this matter. "
