Orders Erdogan US support to militia Syrian Kurds
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today condemned the support provided by the United States to Kurdish fighters in Syria where US soldiers were photographed wearing insignia of People's Protection Units (YPG), a militia designated "terrorist" from Ankara.
"The support we give the PYD (the political wing of the YPG), the YPG, saying in Diyarbakir: condemn," said Erdogan, who spoke from this city of southeastern Turkey. "Those of our friends who are with us in NATO (...) can not, should not send their soldiers in Syria with the insignia of YPG», he added.
