The die is cast: Farmers decided demonstrations
Orbiting dynamic nationwide protests put farmers and ranchers who leave all options open and do not exclude even be set up roadblocks before Christmas, as the fight will escalate.
A decision taken at noon Sunday (18/10), Larissa farmers and ranchers who participated massively in the nationwide gathering convened by the Pan-Hellenic Coordinating Committee of the roadblocks in order farmers to express their opposition to the vertical pushed for the new measures industry under the third memorandum.
The massive participation in the meeting, said the Athens agency, marking and determination of farmers and breeders to fight that, as they themselves stressed, to erect a strong blockade against upcoming foroepidromi.
It is characteristic that in the meeting attended by representatives of 37 prefectures of the country from Evros to Crete, and over 250 representatives Federations, rural clubs and race committees from around the country.

From the end of October will begin regional mobilizations in counties and provinces to conduct rallies and places that will run throughout November.
In early December will be new nationwide meeting, which will be finalized decisions on nationwide coordination of the struggle with farmers not exclude any form of combat nor the roadblocks set up before the Christmas holidays.
As stressed, inter alia Chairman of the United Federation of Agricultural Associations Larissa Rizos Maroudas, farmers and breeders will strive in order to fight against this new scourge of the measures threaten them through the third memorandum and implementation of the new CAP which will reduce to half, as estimated, agricultural subsidies.
Recall that farmers respond to measures such as:
-The Taxed from the first euro farm income at the rate of 26% and with an advance of 100% of the tax for next year.
- The increase to 23% VAT on agricultural tools and supplies.
-The Elimination of the return of the Special Tax on agricultural oil and the sharp increase in the price of farm power.
-The ENFIA for houses, warehouses, stables and fields.
-The Tripling of contributions to OGA.
